Job Title:Safeguarding Facilitator

Location: Remote working, 1 day a month in the office, South West London

- Hourly rate: £16.24 Paye / £20.93 Umbrella

- Contract Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)

- Working Pattern: Part time, 18 hours (2 full days or 3 half days)

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Safeguarding Facilitator to join our client's team in Twickenham. Our client is a leading organisation in the public sector, specifically within Adults Social Care. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the community.

As a Safeguarding Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation's safeguarding initiatives. You will be responsible for administrative tasks, ensuring accurate minute taking, and assisting with various safeguarding procedures. Your attention to detail and excellent organisational skills will contribute to the smooth running of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and filed.
  • Take precise and detailed minutes during meetings, highlighting key points and action items for follow-up.
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of safeguarding procedures, including risk assessments and support plans.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure effective communication and coordination of safeguarding activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, ensuring compliance at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a safeguarding or social care setting.
  • Strong minute-taking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to safeguarding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
