Safeguarding Lead Nurse - Primary Care - Children And Adults

The Safeguarding Lead Nurse for Primary Care will be part of North-East Lincolnshire Safeguarding Team within Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. They will work closely with the Designated and Deputy Designated Nurses, the Lead GPs for safeguarding Children and Adults and the Specialist Practitioners. The post holder will have an integral supportive role within Primary Care, providing safeguarding advice, training and acting as an important conduit for information sharing within safeguarding processes. The post holder will play a role in developing and embedding safeguarding processes within Primary Care with a particular focus on improving and embedding information sharing between Primary Care and multi-agency safeguarding meetings for both adults and children. This will include provision of the health function within the Integrated Front Door arrangements within Childrens Social Care. The post-holder will provide support in the provision of professional advice and development of operational and strategic direction on all aspects of safeguarding arrangements in Primary Care to the: Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Adults and Children Deputy Designated Nurse Safeguarding Adults and Children Designated Nurse for Children Looked After Safeguarding Lead GPs Specialist Safeguarding Professionals across the footprint of North East Lincolnshire and the wider ICB
