Job description

Safety and Environmental Consultant Opportunities
SQEP Ltd, Who We Are
We were founded in 2014 and are a close-knit family of like-minded individuals who are intent on providing the best possible support to our customers and the frontline. Indeed, the aim is to provide the services that we had wanted access to when we were working on the frontline. We build teams with our customers that are based on trust, by making their problems our problems and finding solutions together. Amongst our team we have over 1000 years of collective frontline experience, so we are confident that we have the right people with the right expertise and experience to help solve and project manage our customer’s critical engineering and safety programmes.
What We Do
We are an established and trusted provider of technical support and programme management to the aviation/space, technology and vehicle industries, both in the Military and Civil domains. Our primary outward focus is to provide our clients with best-in-class specialist engineers and managers to drive their technical programmes to success. Our internal focus is to foster an inclusive, learning and enjoyable working environment and to provide the right work life balance. We appreciate that it takes time to become a specialist, however, we thrive on having blended teams, including those with decades of experience, right through to those starting out as engineers; everyone has to start somewhere! We’re focused on supporting our team to expand their experiences by providing tailored professional development through varied and challenging roles and suitable training, which can include master’s degrees. In addition, we support individuals with their registration with a chosen professional body and we have mentors and assessors to help applications for Ieng, CEng, CEnv and ChPP. Ultimately, we are keen to see you succeed and have a rewarding career, your success helps our success.
What We Are Looking For
Our clients want and deserve the best support they can and that means providing them with motivated and intelligent engineers, who have integrity and even a sense of humour. When looking for new talent our primary aim is to select those with the right values and behaviours, because it’s our team members that showcase our ethos and professionalism to our clients and potential customers. We can furnish you with the right technical expertise, but personal qualities and behaviours we can’t teach. So, if you have integrity, a passion for your specialisation, a great working ethos and desire to do the best you can, then that’s a fantastic starting point. Our customers are predominately in the Bristol/Southwest area, but our roles are delivered through a combination of remote and office based collaborative working. As part of our team, you'll experience the freedom of flexible working that enables you to achieve a healthy work-life balance. From a technical perspective we are interested in anyone that has experience in the following areas (in any domain):
* System Safety Engineering
