About Us:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a fall arrest technician in our Safety Product Testing department. As a leading player in the industry, we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in all our products.
Responsibilities:
As a Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Use test equipment and machines to generate results
- Record and calculate test results, both electronically and on paper for use in reports
- Prepare test samples prior to testing
- Read, learn and understand international standards for testing PPE
- Maintain tidiness of laboratory and maintain sample storage
About You:
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- You will possess GCSE's (or equivalent) in the subjects of English and Mathematics, minimum grade C.
- You must be highly organised, enthusiastic and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- You should be competent in the use of Microsoft Office products, in particular MS Excel and MS Word.
- Be able to accurately follow testing procedures and methods
- You will need to demonstrate excellent time management skills and to possess a flexible approach to working being able to respond to changing deadlines and priorities
- You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be methodical when making electronic entries onto systems and when completing paperwork
