Oak Street Medical Practice is a vibrant practice with a diverse population in the heart of Norwich. At Oak Street we believe the quality of our working relationships dictates the quality of our organisation; its purpose in our community; and its aim is to provide holistic individualised care to our patient population.
If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to join a friendly, hard-working multi-disciplinary team then this may be the opportunity for you. The role includes the usual mix of same-day and routine face-to-face and telephone appointments, duty sessions on a pro-rata basis, and a personal GP list.

- Has personal lists to encourage continuity of care.
- Offers 15 minute appointments.
- Shares out On-Call duties proportionally amongst the GP team.
- Is supportive of training and development for staff and partners.
- Is actively involved in the proactive Norwich North Primary Care Network, developing and implementing new opportunities within this network.
- Has excellent QOF/Enhanced Service/Patient Satisfaction Achievements.
- Is CQC rated GOOD – January 2020.
- Has on site free parking.
- Medical Defence Organisation fees paid.
- Is able to offer partnership opportunities in the future for the right candidate (if desired).
- Special interests welcome.
The practice is involved in teaching Year 3 students from the UEA Medical School and we would be very interested in any applicant who is keen in developing a teaching and training role in their career.
If you are interested in joining our team, for between 4-8 sessions or would like to arrange an informal visit, please contact our practice manager, Elaine Howell on 01603 756860.
