Our client based in Knaresborough are on a tremendous journey and are eager to attract the very best talent to further enhance their team and working culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team as the new Sales Account Executive on a permanent full time basis, where you'll be delivering outstanding customer service and personalising your approach to the individual needs of their ever-growing client base. You'll ideally have 1-2 years' account management experience with the drive to achieve and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
Your core duties as a Sales Account Executive will be:
* Managing existing account portfolios and nurturing key relationships with trade accounts.
* Maintaining relationships with key partners to drive referral business.
* Acting as point of contact for all trade accounts providing all necessary support.
* Developing a deep understanding of customers' needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
* Attending training to stay up to date with the specifications of new products and service offerings.
* Monitoring productivity and results relative to established objectives and ensure appropriate steps are taken to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of trade customer satisfaction.
* Providing accurate and timely reporting of account status and growth initiatives.
* Onboarding new applicants and look to proactively expand the customer base.
* Self-generating leads within the customer base through regular account reviews.
* Liaising closely with the trade marketing manager to develop market intelligence and customer insight to increase credibility and competitive advantage.
* Embracing the values for the business and acting as a brand ambassador, consistently contributing to the culture and driving the growth of the business.
Skills required:
* A strong account management background with proven experience of handling large key accounts. (1-2 years ideally).
* Naturally connecting and building strong relationships with others with ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
* Consistent track record of working within a target driven environment and achieving these targets consistently.
* A good understanding of the sales process.
* Experience identifying and converting new business leads.
* Precision and personalisation in approach.
* Passion for variety and fast paced environments.
* Team player committed to creating an excellent customer experience.
* Entrepreneurial approach to developing innovative ideas that will push the boundaries within the industry.
* Positivity and improvement mindset.
* Advanced CRM experience.
As a successful Sales Account Executive you will receive a salary of around £26,000 with an OTE of £28,000 per annum.
