THE COMPANY

Due to continued success and growth, including doubling our footprint size, LoughTec are looking to further expand the team with 3 new roles, one of which is a Sales Account Manager. LoughTec is a specialist in the provision of managed IT services and Cyber Security to businesses, organisations and public sector bodies throughout GB and ROI.

Operating from an office in Omagh, Co Tyrone, the company offers IT managed services, cyber security and cloud solutions helping protect, support and mitigate risk for businesses.

Currently we partner with some of the biggest names in technology and have a client portfolio from diverse business sectors across GB & ROI.

Scope of Role

Working closely with the Sales Director, the Sales Account Manager is a pivotal commercial role within the business that will make a significant contribution to the continued growth of the Company.

The postholder will drive existing customer business growth whilst delivering exceptional customer service.

Sales Account Manager - Key Responsibilites

  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Service current customers support needs and requirements.
  • Successfully present the LoughTec solutions portfolio to existing customers.
  • Manage and identify added-value opportunities with existing customers.
  • Actively source business opportunities, managing pipeline accordingly in CRM.
  • Provide quotations, relevant information and data to potential customers as well as presentations, demonstrations and events.
  • Liaise with other business functions such as technical, sales and administration to ensure a seamless customer service.
  • Participate in relevant sales and marketing events to promote the business and its portfolio of products.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with suppliers and key individuals within the industry.
  • Keep abreast of developments regarding IT services / cyber security.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates on agreed KPIs including sales targets and projections and the forecasting of revenue from CRM pipeline.
  • Conduct all communications through the existing CRM system.

Sales Account Manager - Position Relationship

Person Specification

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • A minimum of 2+ years experience within a proactive Sales Account Manager role with a proven and successful track record.
  • Proven experience of acquiring and nurturing customers whilst achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.
  • Technically minded and computer/systems high level of competence.
  • Ability to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure.
  • Excellent planning, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • People person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to network and build strong working relationships with senior level staff.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be self-sufficient.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Highly competent in MS Office to include excel, word and PowerPoint as well as being technically proficient in IT products with strong general systems knowledge.

Sales Account Manager - Highly Desirable Criteria

Experience of working within the IT and/or cyber security industry
