Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join our highly successful Peterborough-based client.

We are looking for an administrator with a minimum of two years’ experience, working with the Business Support Manager. You will be responsible for all day-to-day administrative duties, ensuring the business delivers excellent end-to-end customer service.

As Sales Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Administrative support – assist with tasks that ensure projects run smoothly including raising quotations, processing sales orders, raising delivery notes, receipting goods in, and liaising with the logistics team.
  • Customer service – keep customers updated about their projects, answering queries, and delivering after sales support.
  • Stock control – maintaining up to date and accurate stock levels within the business through our logistics and supply chain software.
  • Paperwork – filing, scanning, and shredding.
  • Team work – Working closely with other teams to ensure communication is clear and projects run smoothly and to deadline.

You will have excellent communication skills, delivering the highest quality customer service via phone and email.  Ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines is a must along side a high level of organisational skills.  You must be proficient in Microsoft office, especially excel and comfortable learning new software packages.
