Sales Administrator

We are a growing, manufacturer looking for a Sales Administrator / Office Administrator who will be experienced with admin / sales processes, delivering excellent customer service to our clients within the chemical, pharmaceutical and nuclear industries. Dealing with incoming business opportunities this role will give you the opportunity to progress into a more senior position.
BASIC SALARY: £27,000 per annum

JOB DESCRIPTION:Sales Administrator, Office Administrator – Pumps, Manufacturing
We are growing fast and looking to add to our team – you will support the team with the responsibility of administering customer requirements. Being proactive and following up on quotes that are sent out is a vital part of this role, supporting the sales teams by maintaining efficient sales processes.
As our Sales Administrator / Office Administrator you will be responsible for:

• Answering the telephone and handling enquiries.
• Communicating with customers to confirm order details and provide relevant information.
• Preparing and processing quotes, responding promptly to inquiries.
• Making outbound calls and following up on quotes whilst building and maintaining relationships with customers.
• Supporting the business and colleagues with general administrative tasks and sales processes.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:Sales Administrator, Office Administrator – Pumps, Manufacturing
To be our successful Sales Administrator / Office Administrator, you will be confident in your approach to communication across all mediums and you will have a keen eye for detail. A technical, engineering, manufacturing background is advantageous but not essential. Tasked with managing your own workload independently you will be:

• Confident, resilient, professional with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive; able to work within set timescales, organizing your workload to meet deadlines.
• Able to communicate confidently on the phone, being proactive in your approach to supporting the sales teams.
• Competent with IT systems including the Microsoft Office suite and Sage Line 50.
• Personable and an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic.
