An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our client, a successful manufacturing company based in the Medway area.

This is initially a temporary role with the chance of a permanent position being offered to the right candidate.

Supporting a busy sales team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and accurately processing all customer sales order queries, dealing with any queries as needed.

Duties for this role include but are not limited to:

• Working closely with a fast-paced sales team to ensure a seamless process for b2b customers
• Processing sales orders, contracts and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Meticulous data entry: reviewing and processing incoming orders via EDI system and web-based portals, spotting any errors and proactively resolving issues.
• Ensuring CRM is well maintained and up to date.
• Monitoring the internal inbox, responding to customer queries, either actioning or coordinating to relevant teams.
• Dealing with telephone enquiries.
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required to support the sales process

The successful candidate for this role will have/ be:

• Proven experience working in a supporting role within a sales environment servicing b2b customers.
• Some experience working within a relevant sector: manufacturing, construction, engineering or distribution would be most suited.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: a good knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisation and multitasking abilities.
• Very good attention to detail and accuracy demonstrated through data entry and record keeping experience.
• Motivated and driven.
• Able to work within a fast-paced environment, keeping calm under pressure
