Job description

Experienced, confident Sales Administrator required within a successful distribution company based in Brierley Hill. This position is an immediately opportunity working on a temporary contract whilst covering someone on maternity leave. The contract could possibly start on part time hours and next year move to full time hours. There could be a permanent contract available for the right candidate.

The Candidate

Reporting to the Electrical department Sales & Customer services Manager, providing support with sales & the customer services customers.

We are looking for a flexible good all-rounder who is willing to learn our industry and be able to take responsibility, The suitable candidate must have experience of admin, customers services and order processing and knowledge of the electrical industry would be advantageous.

We are looking for a sensible, reliable, hardworking, trustworthy person who can work together within a good team and be able to work on their own initiative to deadlines.

Candidates must have experience of order entry processing (internal system) e-mails inbound, internally & outbound, customer notifications, speaking to customers B2B or B2C, handling customer complaints and being able to work within a fast paced and pressured environment.

General Duties

  • Order processing onto our internal Syspro systems.
  • Answering external or internal sales calls, e-mails, or order requests
  • General sales & service provider, General office administration duties
  • Handling customer complaints competently.
  • Handling customer enquiries or providing quotes.
  • Talking to carriers, chasing deliveries, POD; s or bookings,
  • Communicating with internal teams/departments
  • Activities that you would normally associate with a busy sales & customer services/administration office.

Bespoke tasks (Training Provided)

  • Product & internal systems training knowledge.
  • On the job understanding customers and contact details
