Our client, a highly successful business with a progressive but structured approach, is looking to source the capabilities of a Sales Analyst with a proven accounting ability, to drive and support commercial analysis as well as monthly reporting across an international enterprise.
The role, will allow the chosen candidate to flourish in an environment which allows for both mentoring and autonomy, and gives the chance to pick up new expertise on an ongoing basis. The role is fluid and thus will change over time, but the initial brief will comprise of the following areas:
To be a key business partner with Sales teams to drive improved commercial plans and assess bids and tenders.
Key partner in customer tenders, and supporting account managers to deliver margin and targets
Support build of month end/forecasts/budget and 5-year plan
Review margin development sales managers/directors, challenge and support them to improve
Monitor and provide post promotional campaign analysis to maximise volume and margin growth
Monthly sales performance monitoring v's KPIS
Accurate reviews and cost control of customer activity, including rebates, campaign discounts
Generation of sales reports
Analyse customer and market trends, identify, and improve margin opportunities
Month and quarter end reporting.
