Main Duties
We are seeking a full time Sales and admin assistant to join our friendly and dedicated tailoring team. This is a key role in ensuring that our historic family business continues to deliver excellent customer service and engagement from the first interaction.
You will have the ability to deal with a wide range of people face to face and over email, be friendly and polite at all times, be a good listener and quick learner. You will provide proactive assistance and clear information when needed.
Typical tasks include:
- Compiling lists of measurements, filling in spreadsheets, preparing invoices, corresponding with customers about their orders
- Checking fabric stock levels
- Assisting our tailor in certain tasks when necessary
- Preparing fabric samples
- Taking measurements (training will be provided)
Skills and Experience Required
- An excellent eye for detail
- High numeracy
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Be a team player with a good sense of humour
- Have a positive outlook
- A willingness to learn
- An understanding of ecclesiastical garments a bonus
