Our client is a successful Manufacturing business going through a period of continued growth and has an outstanding opportunity for a commercially Sales and Marketing Manager to take the lead in all matters pertaining to day to day Sales and Marketing, whilst operating as a key member of the management team
Primary Job Aims:
Responsibility for Managing all sales and Marketing activities within the business. Along with all records and reports to meet projected Sales and business growth. Assist in the preparation of forecasts, projections and budgets. Managing customers’ expectations in line with business requirements.
Duties and responsibilities:
Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and market presence
Achieving forecast growth and sales targets
Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in key customer accounts
Providing agreed reports detailing progression on weekly & monthly Sales output and long term strategic goals
Communicating with senior management about existing and new marketing activities.
Organising promotional events such as trade shows and supplier engagement days
Working with advertising departments or agencies to increase customer acquisition.
Creating social media content and distributing promotional content on social media platforms
Measuring key metrics, planning marketing budgets and tracking marketing ROI for each strategy they implement
Key role requirements
Experienced Sales and Marketing Manager with minimum two years’ experience
Hands on knowledge of the Quote and estimating process
Experience with setting up E-commerce systems preferable
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Demonstrate attention to accuracy and detail
Ability and proven track record of working effectively in a team environment and on their own with the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
Experience working in a manufacturing business is a preference
