Sales Assistant - Jewellery
Our client is a well established family business with a beautiful shop situated in Wroxham. Offering a wonderful range of products the client specialises in Fine Diamonds and Vintage pieces.
Together we are looking for an individual who is people focussed, involving proactive engagement with customers, developing relationships and ultimately successfully making sales.
The role will involve:
· Achieving sales objectives
· Dealing with client enquiries
· Maintaining merchandising and showroom standards
· Representing the Company in a professional manner
· Assisting with the organising of and attending sales and jewellery shows
The ideal candidate will
· Have strong customer service, retail and sales experience, but most of all the ability to sell,
· Previously worked with and have a passion for fine jewellery, but training will be given to the right candidate.
· Have a strong knowledge of the current market and trends
· Have a critical eye for detail
· Be professional and well presented
· Be flexible, reliable and willing to learn
· Have an excellent standard of written and spoken English
· Professional Jewellers Diploma, Jet 1/Jet 2 would be a distinct advantage
There will be sales targets in place; however you will be adept at selling in the right way. You will need the skills, confidence and outgoing personality needed to build a rapport with customers and showcase product features. You will have excellent customer service skills, with a proven track record of developing lasting relationships and ability to close the sale. Someone who will contribute to a store atmosphere that is supportive, encouraging, friendly and welcoming to customers and colleagues. We also want you to learn the company values and to embrace them in your work.
