SalaryWe are looking for a Full-Time and/or Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our small, busy team.
Retail and sales experience is essential. Barista training is a bonus.
About us: We are a coffee & tea specialist based in Soho, London. We sell coffee beans and loose-leaf tea and also have a coffee machine for takeaway coffee. We opened back in 1887 and are well-known, and well-loved. We are a true independent, family-run store.
Your Role:
- You will be customer-facing, serving the clientele who visit the store, and helping them choose their desired product. Training on all products will be provided.
- We also have a busy mail order service so you will also be picking and packing orders for dispatch.
- You will be required to assist in deliveries **Heavy lifting is involved - Up To 20KG Sacks.**
- You will help maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the shop.

- You must have a friendly yet professional attitude, great communication skills, a positive demeanour, and a tidy appearance.

- A positive, energetic team member who likes to be on the go all day - we are busy.
- We are a small team - so you must be a team player and willing.
The full time job is 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, including Saturdays. Some overtime will be required. The part time position is for 3 or 4 days per week, 24-34 hours, depending on how many days.
