This is the UK Office of a global organisation and they trade in forest products. It's a busy office and the company like to develop their individuals and promote within. If you have worked in an administration role, sales administration, shipping or logistics then this could be the perfect role for you.
As Account Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Processing sales and purchase orders for export business from the UK
- Placing bookings with forwarders / carriers
- Notifying and agreeing collection schedules with suppliers
- Facilitating trailer collections from suppliers and deliveries to warehouses
- Receiving bookings confirmations and maintaining the booking sheet
- Inventory management
- Handling day to day enquiries regarding order collections and status
- Handling accounting related queries.
- Order management review order tonnages and ensure order are shipped within deadlines.
- Entering new budgets and orders as instructed by Sales Manager
- Day-to-day contact with suppliers and UK customers
- Negotiating and booking freight to optimize order contribution.
- Deliver orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Submit clearances for EU export and UK import. Receive, check, and save said clearances, and forward to third parties where necessary.
Great administration skills are essential and you will need to be able to prioritise your work load.
