Offering £21,000 - £26,000 Basic Salary plus OTE £9,000+ Uncapped.

Technical Prospects are an established technical recruitment consultancy based in Knaresborough with a proven track record gained within the Technology & Software, Engineering & Manufacturing, and Construction industry. Due to continued growth, Technical Prospects are now recruiting a passionate Sales Consultant to implement and drive business development to prospective UK clients. This position would ideally suit an experienced Sales professional who has the desire to develop their career further within the world of recruitment! Full recruitment training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have a passion for sales and be confident engaging with clients at all levels. Be experienced in listening and understanding a client’s needs, questioning when unsure and confident qualifying requirements to ensure no false promises are made.

Also, the Sales Consultant will drive candidate engagement, be responsible for 'championing’ a client’s business and job opportunity to prospective candidates. They will discuss our client’s vacancy and business at length, to better understand their suitability and establish their level of interest before agreeing to consider a candidate detail further.

Sales Consultant - Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively contact businesses to introduce Technical Prospects as a 'Recruiter of Choice’ via telephone, email, Teams and social media.
• Listen, question and understand client’s recruitment needs.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
• Work towards agreed KPIs and exceed targets.
• Assist client in creating a vacancy advert and advertise client’s vacancies on all Technical Prospects job boards and social media platforms.
• Review and shortlist candidates that best matches the position.
• Proactively contact candidates of interest via telephone, email, Teams etc to discuss a vacancy, understand a candidate’s current situation, suitability and level of interest.
• Preparing and organising interviews between candidates and clients that suits the needs of both parties.
• Comply with all Technical Prospects GDPR regulations and legislation.

• Proven sales track record within a new business environment.

• Strong questioning technique and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prospect, build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Comfortable managing your own time, remaining focused and working to targets.

Sales Consultant - Experience

• Experience gained in an outbound sales or recruitment environment.
• Ideally experienced working within a small team where everyone is valued and contributes.

The Sales Consultant is offering £21,000 - £26,000 Basic Salary plus OTE £9,000+ Uncapped. Benefits include 23 days holiday plus statutory, private medical available, free fruit in the office, team lunches, Free Parking, and enhanced holiday entitlement on achievement of targets.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our lovely offices in Knaresborough, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
