I am currently working with a market-leading hardware supplier who are actively recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to join their busy sales team. They are based in Leigh and the position is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting and processing sales orders and quotations received from customers. They will also be responsible for administrative support within the sales team, regularly updating the system with new parts and customer information.
Benefits:

- Hours – Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm, Friday 8:30am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Responsibilities:
- Accurately take and record customer orders, over the phone and by email
- Provide quotations for various products to customers, over the phone and by email
- Create schedules for stores/warehouse for order despatch
- Process customer invoices, credit notes and payments
- Provide general administrative support within the sales team
- General maintenance and upkeep of in-house systems
Specification:
- Experience in order taking and providing quotes
- Strong administrative background
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office, with a particular focus on Excel
- A background within similar industry setting would be desirable
