A online learning business is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join the team on a hybrid basis in the Bristol area. Supporting businesses across various competitive markets, it is becoming even more paramount that professionals are able to access further learning opportunities in order to gain their businesses’ a competitive advantage and be successful within their own careers. As such, this business has seen exceptional growth and success in the last few years and are keen to expand their customer base to promote further growth.
The position holder will be fundamental to this growth, enabling the company to reach more corporate contacts and potential customers. Spearheading future growth, the successful professional will be able to drive this growth forward through successful sales strategies, a proactive attitude and a collaborative approach.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Proactively conducting business development activities, to seek out new opportunities in the market.
  • Building strong relationships that are favourable to the business with potential customers.
  • Arranging meetings with prospects to further business opportunities.
  • Using different channels, including email, phone, and social media to reach prospective contacts.
  • Effectively working with corporate prospects to compile holistic solutions to meet their needs.
  • Consistently building a strong network of contacts.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to design and use successful, multi-channel, cross-functional sales strategies.
  • Tracking pipeline and conversions using the CRM system.
What you will need to Apply:
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong experience in B2B corporate business development and have a good demonstratable track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs. Outstanding communication skills are key to success in this role and are deemed of the highest importance by the company, both in written and verbal forms. Applicants should be motivated, ambitious and have a proactive and a ‘go-getter’ mindset, to energetically chase down business development leads, and action opportunities in the swiftest and most diligent manner. Any previous digital experience, or awareness, i.e. experience gained from within a digital business, would be a bonus and good IT skills would help any application, alongside previous use of a CRM software.
  
What you will get in Return:
For the successful candidate a starting salary of up to £30,000 would be on offer, and this will be variable depending on experience, as the company are keen to find the right person. Alongside this, the successful candidate will gain a fantastic holiday allowance, and an additional day for birthdays. There will also be life assurance and income protection, a good pension and also health plans as well.
  
This role can be worked in a hybrid capacity as well, and the company is happy to discuss specific circumstances with the successful candidate. The business strongly believes in flexible working and wants to ensure they can support their employees where needed, whilst also making sure that workflow is optimised.
  
Alongside these tangibles, there will also be fantastic opportunities for training and development, including qualification training if needed. The successful candidate will be able to work closely with managers to assess where further training is required.
