About the role:
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to help accelerate SportsHotels.com’s growth in the global market. This is an incredible opportunity to start or develop your career, joining a successful business that’s revolutionising the accommodation booking process for the sporting community.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify and generate sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound prospecting activities. You will be working collaboratively and cross-functionally with marketing and sales team members to market SportsHotels.com’s to sports organisations and the wider sporting community. Your success will be measured in achieving weekly and monthly pipeline generation targets (meetings, qualified sales leads, new opportunities, etc).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how SportsHotels.com could help the organisation grow, and successfully position the SportsHotels.com value proposition
- Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
- Schedule discovery meetings to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with SportsHotels.com
- Generate leads and build new opportunities for the sales funnel. Achieving and exceeding your monthly pipeline creation quotas
- Collaborate effectively with the broader team and others to drive new business
- Conduct qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
- Help review, document, and relentlessly improve our sales & onboarding processes so that team performance and customer satisfaction is continually improving.
- Using a CRM system (Hubspot) to accurately record client information
What we are looking for:
- Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
- A track record of high achievement, whether that be academic or professional
- Very strong oral communication skills, capable of negotiating and influencing effectively.
- A natural desire to exceed performance goals
- Are naturally curious and passionate
- The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
- You'll be able to show initiative, be a self-starter, eager to learn, and able to work as a team with a willingness to learn
