Sales Director

Sales Director – Yorkshire Based – Salary circa £80,000

Parkinson Lee are proud to partner a leading Yorkshire Manufacturer and Supplier of consumer goods sold both direct and through the trade wholesale channel. Together we are looking for an experienced Sales Director who play a pivotal role in expanding their market presence and driving revenue growth in the electrical wholesale channel and also their online consumer customer base.

• This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales management, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
• You will develop and execute the sales strategy for both channels aligning with overall business objectives.
• You will lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team across the UK. You will lead the field sales team into trade wholesale and also the internal inbound and outbound online sales team
• The Sale Director will identify and pursue opportunities to expand market share within the electrical wholesale sector by driving awareness within industries such as Modular Building, Construction, Hotel Groups and much more.
• You will develop and nurture relationships with key accounts to drive sales growth
• You will work closely with marketing to ensure increased sales leads and market intel is provided to the inbound and outbound sales team to aid growth targets.
• Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to the senior leadership team

We are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a senior sales leadership role.
• Ability to be in the Yorkshire office weekly
• Strong understanding of the building & construction, electrical wholesale market or related industries within product sales.
• Demonstrated success in leading and growing sales teams both field and internal.
• Experience of working closely with marketing & digital teams
• Results-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
