The role of the Sales Director - Tile Industry will involve:

• Field sales man management role, initially responsible for six architectural specification sales professionals and an internal sales manager (who heads up a team of seven in sales support)
• Immediately tasked with recruiting two additional specification sales professionals
• Team revenue responsibility circa £13m
• Developing and implementing sales strategy
• Setting, monitoring and reviewing key performance indicators
• Coaching, mentoring and developing the architectural field sales team
• Leading by example, supporting in the management of key account where needed
• Develop robust and creative marketing and promotion plans and initiatives
• Achieve profitable sales growth and exceed budget
• Taking up a vital role within our client’s senior management team

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Director - Tile Industry with:

• Proven Sales Director, with a successful track record of developing an A&D specification sales team
• Vast experience at a senior level within a specification field sales environment
• Preferably from within a tile associated industry but open to most interior building products
• Strong work ethic, this role will not suit a nine to five individual
• Contacts within the architectural and interior design community may be advantageous
• Intelligent and comfortable with developing sales strategies and implementing them
• Roll sleeves up mentality
• Focused and polished
• Robust, hardworking character
• Proven leader, coach, mentor and developer of field sales professionals
• Solid work history, preferably no job hoppers
