Sales Engineer

My client is a well-established full service hydraulic company. Established over 35 years ago they provide hydraulic support across the UK & Ireland with over 75 centres enabling them to provide a fantastic service. Due to recent exciting investments, they are looking to grow and develop their sales team by hiring an energetic, driven Sales Engineer to cover the North West. As a Sales Engineer covering this area you will work directly for my client and support two or three centres in your patch helping to establish new leads and increase area turnover.

£24,000 - £32,000 Basic DOE, OTE £42,000, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Car, health care, dental care, and pension.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Identifying new business opportunities including markets and clients.
• Building relationships with new and established clients.
• Gathering an understanding of clients needs to be able to provide the best service.
• Complete and maintain relevant records accurately.
• Liaise with various internal centres to support their needs and increase sales.
• Manage sales life cycles and maintain up to date knowledge of clients, market movements, trends and data.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• Understanding of Hydraulic hose replacement process is a benefit.
• Experience within an engineering environment is a must.
• Be hungry and committed and looking to build a career.
• Previous BDM or field-based experience is a benefit but not essential.
• Able to communicate technical information to all personnel.
• Fantastic relationship builder.
• Have a drive to find new business.
• The ability to present yourself professionally.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
• Confident to work independently.
• Be interested in learning within this position.
• A can-do attitude.
• Full UK driving license.
