Due to ongoing and planned business growth, a superb opportunity has arisen for a Junior Estimator/Business Administrator person to join the company.
KEY DUTIES:
- Take customers calls and process orders and ensuring jobs are scheduled on time and to required customer service standards
- Interpret drawings and liaise with customers to produce quotes
- Send completed confirmation order details to customers on time
- Follow up sales enquiries and process for follow up calls/meetings with the Sales Department
- Process quotes and follow up with potential customers as required
- Making customer calls and follow up warm calls to both new and existing/lapsed customers
- Sending out marketing literature and following up if needed to maximise any potential opportunities
- Gather accurate customer information and processing on to company database
- Handle all telephone enquiries, take messages and redirect as necessary
- Maintain customer enquiry records to include contact details, job requirements etc
THE PERSON
- A minimum of 1-2 years previous Estimating experience, ideally within the engineering, steel or construction industries
- A basic knowledge of measurements and drawings would be essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload without the need for constant supervision
- Motivated, ambitious with the desire to build a long term career
- Excellent office admin skills
- Highly IT literate
- Excellent telephone manner and enjoys dealing with customers
SALARY
A competitive basic salary up To £32k + benefits will be on offer.
