Events & Conferences Sales Executive
The City, London
Monday to Friday + occasional weekends
Salary : £33,000

As one of London's most well-known and established conference & events venues and they are currently recruiting for an Events & Conference Sales Executive.
Do you want to be part of a busy sales team with a high volume of enquiries? If so then this Events Sales Executive position is the role for you.
The ideal Events Sales Executive:
* A minimum of 2 years' proven experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment within Conference & Event venues
* Proven strong "pro- active" & "re-active" sales experience
* The ability and ambition to hunt out sales prospects, results driven and motivated to achieve targets.
* Have excellent communication skills; you will be passionate about the Event Industry and confident in liaising with prospect and exciting clients to identify opportunities to maximise revenue through up-selling.
* You will be resilient and work well under pressure, have strong organisational skills and accurate and consistent approach to customer service and departmental requirements.
Principal Accountabilities
* Proactively grow, develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing key accounts.
* Pro-actively seek and identify new business opportunities and work alongside the Business Development team to increase the yield from key accounts.
* Take ownership of an event from the first point of enquiry, through all the sale process stages to completed event and final invoicing and feedback.
* Develop and create bespoke proposals & sales business plans that meet the client's expectations and objectives.
* Prepare & conduct show rounds, hosting tastings for clients (new and exciting clients).
* Work closely with all relevant departments to plan and deliver successful events, with responsibility for producing all the internal event details before handing over to our operational team, as well as meet and greet your clients on event days.
* Be an effective team player with a bubbly, outgoing personality, and have a natural flair for networking.
