SalarySales Executive (18-month fixed term contract)
Our client, a leading representative organisation for the protection of buildings, is seeking a friendly, positive, and proactive Sales Executive to join their small, fast-growing team based in Huntingdon. As the first point of contact within their training team, you will play a crucial role in speaking to potential candidates, predominantly over the phone, regarding course and exam inquiries, and discussing their options. This position requires someone with excellent attention to detail, a people-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate sales leads, follow up on leads, and advise potential clients on training courses.
- Serve as the main contact for phone and email inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Maintain excellent course booking records, including raising invoices, booking spaces, and managing special requirements.
- Chase and process payments, recording all interactions in the CRM Database.
- Support candidates on exam days by invigilating exams and providing necessary information.
- Assist in maintaining the organisation's website, ensuring up-to-date training and exam dates availability.
- Attend online live training sessions to provide assistance as required.
- Carry out general administration duties and propose process improvements based on experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A levels or equivalent qualifications.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a background in customer service or sales preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM databases and website editing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to present information clearly and concisely.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract with a competitive salary ranging from £22,000 to £25,000 per annum. If you are a motivated individual with a desire to contribute to a growing team and develop your skills, we encourage you to apply. Travel to local and national events may be required.
