SalaryThis is a great opportunity for a SALES EXECUTIVE to join the team of a successful and well established Smethwick based manufacturing business
You will be working from a buzzing, newly refurbished, office environment while both visiting and receiving customers in person.
Salary is negotiable with experience but is anticipated to be in the region of £30,000 plus incentives package. Working hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Mon to Fri.
As a SALES EXECUTIVE within this business your will undertake the following key activities:
- Balance new business development with account management
- Face to face customer meetings
- Identify and pursue potential new customers, business leads and enquiries
- Nurture and build both new and established customer relationships
- Achieve performance and activity targets on a weekly basis
- Maintaining customer database and records
- Progress chasing
The successful SALES EXECUTIVE will have the following key skills and attributes:
- Experience in a field or office based, business to business selling role
- Business to business sales, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or similar
- Financially & commercially astute
- Skilled communicator and strong, opportunistic negotiator
- Self-motivated and structured with a target driven approach
- Computer & social media literate
This SALES EXECUTIVE position will ideally suit a systematic and motivated self starter with a background in selling metal finishing services within the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
