The Package

You’ll have a structured path for progression that will enable you to thrive and develop further in your sales career, where you’ll benefit from structured and continuous BT accredited training, and an in-house trainer to enable you to maximise your potential. You’ll also benefit from:

  • Starting salary of £30,000. With twice yearly reviews.
  • Uncapped earning potential with commission / bonuses, OTE between £45,000 and £50,000 in the first year. £50,000 - £60,000 second year
  • Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, (3 days in the office and 2 days seeing customers)

The Role - Sales Executive - Desk/Field Hybrid Role

With the support of the Sales Manager, as an Sales Executive you’ll become part of the BT Local Business team representing the BT brand to SMEs in Coventry & Midlands. You will complete the BT academy training, that will enable you to gain a globally recognised qualification to sell products in the BT portfolio and recommend solutions to our customers. Ideal role for someone with good B2B Desk Experience who wants the opportunity to do Field Sales. Your duties will include:

  • Proactively contacting accounts daily by phone, email and LinkedIn
  • Uncovering / identifying new business sales opportunities
  • Creating sales and leads over the phone and email to secure new or additional business
  • Selling the full range of BT products and services, proactively up-selling and cross-selling
  • Using our CRM system (Salesforce) to input information

Our Requirements - Sales Executive - Desk/Field Hybrid Role

  • B2B outbond sales experience (Telecoms experience is prefered but not essential)
  • A successful track record in sales
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills, with confidence making outbound calls
  • Confidence and resilience when handling objections and challenging conversations
  • Self-motivated and results driven with hunger for success and progression
  • Enthusiasm and keenness to learn
  • Good IT skills including the use of CRM databases, along with accurate data entry skills
  • Basic understanding of new technology, with the ability to communicate this to customers
