This Client is an established warp knit fabric manufacturer looking to recruit a Sales Executive with the passion to drive for sales with existing, lapsed customers and to develop new opportunities.
The Ideal applicant will have textile or fashion related B2B experience.
Applicants must be UK based, eligible to work without restriction and have the ability to travel.
Sales Executive - Fabrics – The Job Outline
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
* Research, identify and actively pursue new business opportunities for both lingerie/wider markets and technical end uses
* Drive sales growth and achieve agreed targets and objectives.
* Regular customer contact meetings to maintain and develop strong commercial relationships and to present new products and concepts.
* Overseas travel will be required.
* Negotiate prices to achieve departmental sales and margin targets.
* Represent the company at international trade events
* Contribute to overall business strategy and product portfolio.
* Management of the critical path.
* Liaise with internal/external teams, suppliers and factories to ensure customer requirements are met and delivered on schedule.
Sales Executive - Fabrics – The Person Specification
* Previous direct B2B sales experience within textiles or apparel sector is preferrable.
* Keen interest in learning all aspects of fabric manufacturing, dye, finish and print.
* Strong organisational and planning ability.
* Confident interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Ability to learn new skills and apply, strong work ethic.
* Team player, enjoys being part of a close knit team and providing cover for others during busy periods/holidays etc.
* Ability to travel regularly, as and when required.
