Nigel Wright Recruitment is working exclusively with a repeat industrial sector client in their search for an Office Based global Sales Executive. The Company is UK based, but sells high value construction products globally and the new hire will be dealing with customers across multiple continents. The role will have a mix of account management and attracting new customers across the construction sector
Role Profile:
- Proactively conducting B2B business development activities to a combination of previous and existing customers
- Identifying prospects and targeting customer profiles against pre agreed criteria
- Engaging with decision makers to build relationships
- Developing leads and opportunities for the deal closing sales leadership (potential for the role to progress into a deal closing position)
- Growing a base of customers through identifying opportunities
- Utilising and developing the company CRM system effectively
- Communicating pipeline and commercial information upline to the Directors and with peers
- There may be some requirement for flexibility in hours, to take account of time different time zones for certain customer contact
Person Specification:
Essential
- Previous B2B outbound phone sales experience
- Business development and commercial sales experience
- Proven track record of applying a growth mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technical product sales experience (international would be advantageous)
- Strong organisational, time management skills with ability to prioritise
- Good attention to detail
- Educated to degree level in a technical discipline or 5 years in a technical role
Desirable
- Ability to use and manage a CRM such as Hubspot
- Problem solving experience
- Previous research experience
- Foreign language
