About the role
Based in my clients offices on the outskirts of Chelmsford, they are looking for driven and motivated team members to rise to the challenge and join our Technical Sales Team. Taking inbound calls, providing quotes and tenaciously closing a deal will be second nature for you and in return, we promise to value your worth and help you achieve your career goals. Most of their sales are inbound, with a flow of information and leads coming through to you, so your destiny will be in your hands to drive yourself and the company forward with our full support to help you achieve those goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage our vendor portfolio
- Take part in Sales campaigns devised by the senior sales team to drive revenue and profit.
- Work with the dedicated Sales Support team to ensure the customers experience a smooth transaction and all opportunities are investigated.
- Ensure incoming sales enquiries are converted into sales orders
- Sales order processing when required
- Actively manage existing accounts to ensure repeat business and develop cross and upselling opportunities within those companies.
- Liaise with internal departments to facilitate the above, with Marketing, Operations and Finance.
- Website product and pricing management and auditing, competitor analysis and pricing comparison
- Meet or exceed Service level agreements set by management
- Adhere to the Companies’ requirements for maintaining CRM and other systems.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the company products and services
- To provide line management with reports and/or information, as required.
- Business acumen and knowledge of the broader marketplace to keep up with trends and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to keep up with industry trade shows and events.
Skills Required:
- You will be well versed in full solution sales, employing consultative sales techniques with a clear sales structure.
- An analytical problem-solving mindset is desired, able to upsell opportunities from sales orders to drive additional revenue.
