The reason why this is such a good assistant role is that you’re not there to just pick up and assist with the bits your manager doesn’t want to do, you’ll actually have your own portfolio of clients where you will be chasing payments, you’ll be the problem solver, the go to person to answer customer queries & questions – so you must have patience, people skills & a natural ability to sort things out.
