Sales Ledger Assistant
Are you an ambitious individual looking to kick-start your career in accounting and finance? We are currently seeking a Sales Ledger Assistant to join our dynamic team in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Accounting and Finance graduates or individuals with a minimum of 6 months experience in an accounting and finance role to further develop their skills in a thriving organisation!
You will be based in Oxford 5 days a week during your probation period, so please ensure you are within a commutable distance.
Ideally, you will also be available immediately or with a short notice period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Sales Ledger function efficiently and accurately.
- Process sales invoices and credit notes promptly.
- Reconcile Sales Ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer records and respond to customer queries in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end procedures and provide support for financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of sales transactions.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (for graduates) or an AAT studier.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in an accounting and finance role (for experienced candidates).
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritise tasks efficiently.
