Sales Ledger Manager

Anderson Knight are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Manager to join our well known client based in Paisley. The role of the Sales Ledger Manager is to own the Invoicing cycles which are primarily monthly but also include a variety of staggered Invoicing throughout the month. This is seen as a key role in finance and is offering a salary of £33-35,000 per annum BOE.

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

• Invoice ‘ALL’ jobs that are supplied on a report from the Account Management team.
• Transfer Invoices to Business Central Finance System.
• Issue invoices to Customers electronically.
• Upload some Invoices to Customer portals where required.
• Prepare manual simplified Invoices for the handful of customers that require this.
• Issue (not own) the Accrued Income Report weekly to the relevant key management so they can carry out the relevant actions to transform the jobs to a ‘ready to invoice’ state.
• Monitor the Manual Customer Invoice Tracker (approx. 15 customers on this system) and issue weekly to Head of Account Management.
• Advise Customer Service & Transport teams of any problematic items that they need to resolve which is preventing invoices from being generated.

Candidate Requirements:

• Analytical thinker with strong Microsoft Excel abilities
• Effective Communication skills
• ERP experience preferably in both Operations & Finance
• Preferably a Finance or Operational background
• A keen Inquisitive mind
• Sales Ledger background.
