Job Title: Sales Ledger Manager Location: Epsom, Surrey Salary: £47,000+ pa dependent on experience Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday. Our aim is to lead the care industry by providing high quality, personalised and specialist services to our clients.Role PurposeTo provide an accurate and efficient service to both internal and external customers.The Sales Ledger Manager will be responsible for supervising the team of credit controllers as well as all aspects of sales Ledger and credit control duties for a given group of accounts. This is to be done following the companies credit control procedures .The Sales ledger Manager will report to the Finance Director.Main ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Ledger Manager specific duties will includeBuilding relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure timely payments on major accountsManage the credit control team and mentor the Senior credit controllers to develop their leadership potentialAutomate and streamline processesCancelling and reissuing invoicesAllocate accounts to Credit controllersEnsure payments are chased for overdue accountsTraining credit controllersImplement robust policies and procedures e.g. Credit limits, direct debits, adhere to Delegation of Authority etc Reconciling accountsResolving internal and external queriesGeneral credit control dutiesMonitor performance against KPI'sSupport with other business projects as requiredKey factors to successManagement skillsBuild effective relationships with key stakeholdersPerformance managementProcess improvementWell informed in all areas of sales LedgerExcellent customer service skillsGood communication skills both written and oralWork accurately within agreed time scalesDemonstrate high degree of confidentiality Person SpecificationAbility to motivate othersTeam playerFlexible may be required to work additional hoursUnderstand the need for confidentialityAbility to converse effectively with clients and branch managersComputer literate, strong Excel skillsAbility to work on own initiative - self starter, must be able to prioritise tasks and be a manager of timePossess excellent administration skillsPrevious experience in sales Ledger/ credit control is essentialHealthcare experience is a strong preferenceExperienceExcellent literacy and numeracy skills. Exposure to working in a team environment.
