Sales Manager
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Head Office with Remote Working and Client Visits
Salary: Upto £50k plus uncapped commission
My client is a renowned Specialist Service Provider, seeking a proven Sales Manager to lead the successful Sales Team. As the Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations and people management of the Sales function. This role requires a successful sales professional with a track record of driving impressive sales and business growth through strategic planning and execution. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Sales Director, you will be a key member of the Senior Management team.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and exceed annual sales targets.
- Follow up on leads promptly and close orders within the required timeframe.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to the sales team.
- Learn and master any outstanding specialism areas within a set timeframe.
- Implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation and conversion.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure the CRM system is accurately maintained by the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Technical Sales/Semiconductor industry.
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or warehousing environment preferred.
- Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional phone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable working autonomously and technically minded.
- Demonstrable understanding of industry/customer standards and best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Dynamics being desirable.
