THE COMPANY:
A Sports Technology Organisation is looking to appoint a Sales Manager, who will be responsible for driving the growth in sales for, and implementation of a new cutting-edge Sports technology to be used at high profile sporting events.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Director of Special Projects, the successful candidate will primarily focus on delivering revenue through business development and the successful implementation of projects associated with the new sports technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for generating revenue by closing deals with prospective clients through selling our products, solutions, and services.
- Identify priority business opportunities through prospecting, evaluation, and prioritization.
- Lead the execution and evolution of the outbound business development function, including attending industry events, fostering new relationships, exploring new industry verticals, and partnership opportunities.
- Oversee and lead on-site deployments in conjunction with the service team when required.
- Attend operational and quarterly business meetings related to the new security technology and deliver on identified actions.
THE PERSON:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the technology or security industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels.
- Previous involvement in the creation of project plans and quotes for technology or security-related solutions.
- Experience in on-site deployments and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
