The Role:
As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable financial growth. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of 4 Business development managers, developing new client relationships personally, nurturing existing ones, and expanding their business footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a sales team of up to 4 Business Development Managers (BDMs).
- Conducting weekly meetings with BDMs and monthly reporting to the Director.
- Actively participating in Monthly Board meetings.
- Recruiting and interviewing new BDMs.
- Spearheading new business development
- Managing their CRM database and maintaining accurate records of all sales activities.
- Preparing new account documentation and client information packages.
- Attending sales meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and client entertainment events as required.
- Collaborating closely with the sales and operations teams.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing a sales team within the plumbing or drainage industry
- Exceptional communication skills across all business levels.
- Self-motivated with excellent management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Full driving license.
- Business acumen, excellent organisational and team-working skills, with the ability to delegate and motivate.
