Our client, a global leader in maritime solutions, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team. As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Execute sales activities aligned with the product centre and division strategy to achieve annual sales targets in price and margin.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customer-specific sales activities, maintaining and enhancing customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Global Representation: Represent the company to customers worldwide, managing proposals and sales activities for maritime products.
- Travel Requirement: This role involves global travel, necessitating flexibility and willingness to travel at short notice.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Degree qualified with a track record in managing sales campaigns.
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills with a good understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the marine industry, particularly naval markets, and familiarity with product range and shipbuilding practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Good engineering background with the ability to communicate at a technical level with customers.
- Eligibility: Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
