Sales Manager

Sales Director Needed! Streamline Search are actively working with an established freight forwarding company as they seek an experienced freight sales professional to join their team and help drive the business forward in 2024. The successful candidate will possess exceptional networking skills, a well-established clientele, and the ability to build and nurture relationships. Candidates of particular interest will come from multi-modal freight backgrounds however at a minimum you should strong knowledge of Sea freight and container shipping. This role is also completely remote so you must be self-motivated and focused.

(Sales Director) - Position Overview

This is a role for an exceptional Sales Director to spearhead future expansion. This is a high-impact, remote position offering a unique opportunity for the right candidate to make a real difference. As part of the role the candidate will take the lead in business development, driving sales forwards and work closely with the Managing Director to help grow the business. The company in question specialises in the most part in Ocean freight and as such you must be well versed in container freight and have the knowledge to match.

(Sales Director) - Position Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager/ Director or similar role within the freight and logistics industry.
• Solid track record of successfully building and maintaining a client portfolio.
• In-depth knowledge of the freight forwarding process, including documentation, customs regulations, and transportation modes (air, sea, road, rail).
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and stakeholders.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and drive sales targets.
• Highly organized with exceptional time management skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using relevant software applications, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Salary negotiable.
