£56,789 to £65,195 Basic plus a lucrative bonus, Car Allowance + Oyster Card
This is an opportunity for an experienced people manager to take charge of an already existing team and lead them to even greater levels of success. Our client operates a friendly and relaxed working environment, so we have been briefed to find an inspirer of people, a coach and a mentor as opposed to a sergeant major type. But not a pushover !
Our client is already a leading force in the Free Trade in the Midlands however a recently formed strategic alliance within the spirits category presents an opportunity to extend business into both the south-west and the south-east of the country. Opportunities are particularly numerous in the small single site premium / trendy pub / hotel / restaurant channel as well as with smaller group accounts, and with specialist wholesalers / Route To Market (RTM) customers. We have been retained to identify an accomplished individual to exploit those business opportunities both personally, as well as via the team under their charge.
To be considered for this exciting role you should be an accomplished people manager with a demonstrable track record of achieving results through other’s efforts. Critical to the role will be your coaching and mentoring skills.
You should also be able to think and act strategically and it would be very much an advantage if you had exposure to and or a clear understanding of the RTM channel, which presents a huge opportunity. There will also be an opportunity for you to do some personal business development in the small group / key account arena although the majority of your time will be involved with the support and management of your team.
Ideally from a brewery or BWS background however the most important thing is your inspirational management style and your ability to think and act strategically.
