An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Devonshire Place as Sales & Marketing Manager.
Devonshire Place is one of Leicester’s leading Conference & Banqueting Venues, based close to the City Centre. It is a unique destination that undoubtedly meets the specification of a one-off venue suitable for weddings, conferences, meetings, exhibitions, dinners and that very special occasion.
The building is Grade II listed, with stunning features and comprises a number of dining facilities and numerous meeting rooms. With a dedicated team of staff, including in house Chefs producing food to exceptional standards, Devonshire Place is the perfect location.
As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a Marketing Plan that crosses all platforms - both traditional and very importantly digital.
Sales & Marketing Manager - responsibilities will include:
- Creation of Sales & Marketing Plan and its implementation.
- Raising awareness of Devonshire Place to local businesses via all social media platforms, including updating the website weekly, and by attendance at networking meetings.
- Implementation of cross platform Social Media Campaigns aimed at the target market.
- Identification of influencers and target audience, to prepare a prospects list for future marketing campaigns.
- Planning of wedding showcases.
- Liaison with all existing customers to plan their event with them and to ensure repeat business at the completion of a function.
- Creative skills with design and the ability to produce personalised stationery for all functions.
- Closure of sales following enquiries and show rounds of Devonshire Place.
- Maintaining accurate records of marketing campaign results.
- Reporting to Directors of the Business as and when required.
The successful candidate will have flair, experience in social media campaigns, smart appearance, attention to detail, be a team player, have incredible organisational skills, be able to multi-task and work under pressure, and have strong verbal communication skills and bags of enthusiasm.
Experience in the hospitality industry at a senior level would be ideal.
Salary Circa £38,000 depending on experience + Bonus Scheme. Company pension scheme. Free car parking on site.
