We are an established ski & adventure holiday company (Chamonix specialists) looking for an enthusiastic, competent person to join our loyal team with sales enquiries, marketing and financial tasks.
15-20 hours per week (higher hours during winter months), spread over 3 or 4 days. June start with a small team, hybrid/remote.
£35-45k salary range, full time equivalent.
What we are looking for:
Professional communication skills for answering online and telephone enquiries from clients around the world.
An understanding of French and French culture; we specialize in the Chamonix valley and Provence. Our clients are skiers, climbers and mountain lovers. They expect a high level of service in comfortable chalets and villas, which we choose ourselves.
Solid experience of Microsoft software, track record of learning new software or booking systems.
The ability to produce enticing and accurate website copy, mailshots and adverts. Digital marketing experience an advantage.
Excellent organisation skills to maintain client booking details.
The ability to work under pressure when calculating client quotes or assisting in bookkeeping tasks.
Experience in travel or online booking platforms is a bonus.
Other qualities needed are common sense, initiative, an approachable manner and of an infectious love of travel.
