We’re looking for a friendly and cheerful Sales Office Administrator to join our busy Bulk Materials Handling team, which provides an on-site installation and maintenance service for our leading range of conveyor components to customers throughout the UK. You will be undertaking a variety of activities aimed at generating new/more business, as well as carrying out pre- and post-order admin and providing general admin support to other team members. You will receive any support you need and in-depth training.

Main responsibilities
- Help to generate new business by providing information to the Business Development Executive.
- Support the engineers using information from the CRM and time tracking systems and making hotel bookings.
- Deal with enquiries and new account forms.
- Create, progress and follow up quotations.
- Oversee the admin process for live installation work.
- Manage the payment process in conjunction with the Finance Manager.
- Co-ordinate on-time delivery to site.
- Prompt engineers to follow up recent installations.
- Follow up with customers post-installation.
- Work with the Senior Service Engineer to manage the Machines Database.
- Prepare for exhibitions and events and play a part in hosting customers and suppliers.
Key skills, experience and personal qualities
- At least 2 years’ admin experience.
- Friendly and cheerful team player who is customer-focused.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Great communication skills; professional and confident on the phone.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Able to build strong working relationships.
- Good level of IT skills, literacy and numeracy.
- Experience of working in a busy Sales team – desirable.
- Knowledge of H&S processes and procedures, including RAMS – desirable.
Hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
24 days’ holiday plus public holidays.
