Sales Operations Manager

Want to take the reins in a newly created role with a growing business? Looking to utilise your sales experience in a more operational setting? We are delighted to be supporting Bookspeed - a market-leading customer-focussed book wholesaler - as they look to add a Sales Operations Manager to the team. As a business, they love getting more books into the world and this new role will play a big part in helping them do that.

Working closely with the Sales Director, you'll be overseeing a team and helping to introduce new efficiencies and processes to allow customers to find the right books for their retail spaces.

We're looking for:

• People management skills - you'll be used to managing and developing a team in a sales environment
• New process development - you'll have implemented new ways of working to further improve
• Commercially aware with a record of achieving sales targets
• Curiosity - you'll want to get under the hood to really understand and analyse sales processes
• Organisational skills - used to managing multiple tasks
• A lover of books would naturally be a plus here - but more importantly, you'll be someone passionate about process improvement and ensuring a positive customer journey

You will be:

• Managing and developing a team of Account Managers and Sales Support Manager
• Analysing and improving sales processes
• Identifying and establishing KPIs for the team
• Delivering regular 121s with the team
• Working closely with Sales Director to achieve targets
• Providing feedback on customer trends and behaviours and ensuring they are receiving high levels of service to maintain excellent NPS scores
• Recruiting and training new team members as required
