Working in association with a privately-owned property Investment Company owning a unique portfolio of freehold office, residential, hotel, retail and leisure properties based in Canary Wharf, we are seeking an experienced Sales / PurchaseLedger Clerk to join their finance team.
The role will play a pivotal part in the company's accounts team providing the candidate with exposure to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Role Overview
Sales Ledger
- Raising sales invoices of multiple companies.
- Maintaining Sales Ledger control account.
- Allocation of receipts
- Credit control
Purchase Ledger
- Processing of complex and detailed invoices
- Administering the purchase daybook of multiple companies.
- Proactively resolving queries
- Liaising with suppliers
- Producing weekly payment run
- Allocation of payments
- Various ad hoc tasks
Person Specification
- Relevant accounting qualification (AAT) or qualified by experience.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Hardworking, self-motivated and dedicated to the position
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
