To be part Sales Advisor and also Trade Counter Sales Receptionist.
To act as the first point of contact for customers / visitors to Henry Colbeck sites.
Responsible for the efficient and friendly answering / making of inbound / outbound telephone calls.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To meet and greet all visitors, customers and company personnel.
- To input “Cash and Carry” customer orders and direct customers to the order collection point.
- To deal with customer cash/card payments and general banking.
- To answer or distribute inbound calls quickly, efficiently and in a friendly manner.
- When appropriate, to maximise the sales potential of every call (in terms of order value and number of lines), whether outbound or inbound.
- Accurately data entering customer orders.
- To promote the products that the company has prioritised.
- To develop excellent relationships with customers.
- To work closely with Field Sales Managers as part of a unified Sales Team to maximise the sales and relationship potential of every customer.
- To develop and retain excellent product knowledge
- Cash Office duties on an as needed basis
Skills Required:

- Ability to deal with customer queries, complaints and difficult situations and turn them into a positive experience for the customer.

- Team player with the ability to work closely with the Telesales and Field Sales Teams.
Confidence to manage upwards / outwards and to communicate issues and opportunities to the wider company, other departments and depots
Additionally:
- You may be asked to visit customers, attend training and company exhibitions and may be required to work additional hours occasionally (which may include weekend work).
- You may be asked to cover specific telesales customer call schedules due to illness or holidays or to carry out other general sales support duties
- To comply with all Company policies and procedures and deliver within the standards of all certification bodies ie: ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental & BRC (where applicable).
Basic Salary is £23,400 / OTE is 25-26k with commission
Hours are typically Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
