We are partnered with a groundbreaking and innovative tech start up seeking a talented and driven sales professional or Business Development manager to join their London based firm where they can look to earn OTE upward of £90k+ year 1.
Our client sell a novel tech-based SaaS solution designed to make it easier to recycle scrap metal. The tech is new, they have no competitors in their field at what they offer and is the future of trading scrap metal in an industry boasts over £7B per year of revenue in the UK alone.
Currently a young business they are in rapid growth mode and seek a dynamic BDM/Sales Executive to help aid the success they have already had. The selected candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. This role will suit someone who is driven to join a company established, yet near the start of their journey where they can still make significant impact and enjoy a strong career trajectory.
As the Sales Representative/manager you will be responsible for:
- Managing the end-to-end sales cycle from building a pipeline of qualified opportunities to winning and onboarding new scrap metal dealers & vehicle recyclers
- Outbound calling to generate new business
- Handling the inbound calls generated by the firms marketing campaigns
- Run discovery demos with prospective customers, aligning the features and benefits of the firm to business problems that impact the bottom line
- Be an ambassador for the business within a growth territory - on social media and in person at industry events
- Work together with the inhouse marketing team to identify information gaps and trends that will help you drive revenue.
- Ready to enjoy fast progression in a developing business.
What do you need to be successful?
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in a professional outbound calling role
- Ideally sales experience in scrap metal / waste industry however strong sales professionals interested from any sector are considered.
- Must utilise all communication methods available to you for generating sales (Phone - sms, Whatsapp, email, social media)
- Have experience in b2b sales
- Have experience working with CRM systems
