About theSales Support Executive
My client is a rapidly growing SME lender providing flexible lending facilities to assist businesses to grow across the UK. Since launching in 2019, they have had YoY growth with the last 6 months consecutively having 30% increase in lending and applications per month!
Due to the brilliant traction on product fit into the market they are finding the volume of applications is rising so there is need to hire another Sales Support Executive to ensure a quick and efficient level of service is given to all customers.
You will report into the Head of Customer Support & have lots of autonomy and progression opportunities in the role.
They are happy to consider candidates with financial services & banking experience or candidates without who have an interest in the sector.
As theSales Support Executiveyour responsibilities and duties will include:
- First port of call for all new applications, to check whether:
- All the correct information has been received that is required for underwriting.
- Confirm it’s a new application and it fits within our criteria
- Liaise directly with the broker or directly with customer to ensure we have all the correct information needed for underwriting
- For applications that are declined upfront, input basis details into Salesforce
- Pass the lead to the Operations Team for review when the complete information has been received
- Go back to the brokers to request any missing info that has been identified by the Ops team or Underwriter
- Support the BDMS or Ops team as the deal progresses, e.g. bank verifications
Essential Skills and Competencies of theSales Support Executive is:
- Ideally 1 years experience in a customer support or Sales Support role
- Good communicator, confident communicating with customers and good telephone manner
- Can do attitude, keen to start a career within their employer
- Good attention to detail
- Fast learner and interest in fintech
